BACKGROUND

Texas Careers began in 1989 as a place for vocational teachings. It began as an integrated educational institution devoted to the teaching of professional skills in a career-focused atmosphere. The first school was opened in San Antonio, Texas as a nurse aide program. Since that program's inception, Texas Careers has expanded to include vocational programs in five distinct fields.
