We have done our best to identify the fraternity houses best-known for their parties. We found three campuses that are home to three frats who know how to make a Saturday night memorable.
Beta Theta Pi and Alpha Tau Omega at DePauw University: This small liberal arts college in Greencastle, Indiana sports one of the most active Greek communities in all colleges and universities across the country. With more than 70 percent of all students enrolled in a fraternity or sorority, it’s no wonder that DePauw ranks high when it comes to having quite the colorful frat parties. At the top of the list are Beta Theta Pi (Beta) and Alpha Tau Omega (ATO). To say these frat house weekend parties are popular amongst DU students is a gross understatement.
Sigma Nu at University of Tennessee, Knoxville: Take a stroll along Fraternity Row on any Saturday night and you’ll get to experience a taste of the very active Greek life on this campus. But one standout is Sigma Nu. This frat, which doesn’t haze as part of recruitment process, is a definite hot spot for weekend parties that spill well over into the early morning hours of Sunday.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon at University of Mississippi: Even though houses like Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha and Alpha Tau Omega are very popular, they have received suspensions or are under investigations for incidents at their raucous parties and were therefore not included on our biggest party frat houses list (although they clearly know how to throw a party!). But a mention of Ole Miss’s frat party scene is required given its reputation as being one of the biggest party schools in the country. Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) is a definite stand-out amongst the remaining open frat houses at Ole Miss for being one of the best frats on campus and in the country.
We recognize that there is a tremendous amount of subjectivity, emotion and opinion in identifying the best party frat houses so we invite you to discuss your picks by sharing your comments about your favorite choices below.

FIJI at DPU blows. sig chi’s think they are hot stuff but really are a bunch of losers who have terrible parties. i would give ato the edge over beta but both houses know how to party.

HAHA, no one likes Sig Chi, not even their neighbor Pi Phi. I think that speaks volumes. It’s impossible to navigate the hallways of Beta and ATO over the weekends, while it is impossible for Sig Chi to not get vandalized over the weekends; enough said.

I don’t know about that. Sigma Chi rocks! Plus it’s where all the babes go. ATO is so lame!
