Most Scenic College Campuses in the U.S.

hawaiiCan’t decide which college you want to attend? Why not pick a pretty one? We all know that college is for learning, but you won’t be cooped up in a classroom the whole time, so if you love to go for morning runs or just want to enjoy your surroundings, you might as well pick a college that has a scenic campus that both you and visiting friends and family can enjoy.

Here’s a list of the most scenic college campuses:

New College of Florida: Looking to study by the beach? New College of Florida may be the best place for you. Located near Sarasota Bay, the college not only has breath-taking palm trees, but the school is also surrounded by both modern and classic architecture.

University of Colorado-Boulder: It doesn’t get much better than a campus that is surrounded by towering mountains, but the University of Colorado has more than that. In addition to the picturesque mountains, there are several hundred square miles of wilderness, forests and national parks
within miles of campus.

University of Hawaii-Manoa: Basically everything in Hawaii is beautiful, so it’s no surprise the University of Hawaii made the list. Not only is the university located on a lush tropical island, the campus is flourishing with beautiful art, a Japanese garden and a Thai pavilion.

Rhodes College: Visit this woodsy campus, and you’ll never want to leave. Located in Memphis, Tenn., Rhodes College boasts a 100-acre campus complete with verdant trees and Gothic-style architecture. Several of the campus’ structures are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
