Vince Vaughn’s Education Background

Actor Vince VaughnVincent “Vince” Anthony Vaughn was born on March 28, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the son of toy company salesman Vernon Lindsay Vaughn and real estate and stock broker Sharon Eilleen. Vaughn’s parents divorced in 1991. He has two older sisters,Victoria and Valeri.

The family moved to Illinois and Vaughn graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1988. The same year Vaughn was cast in a commercial for Chevrolet and he soon moved to Hollywood.

Vaughn had minor success as a television actor in the late 1980’s and early 1990s but struggled as an actor. Vaughn’s first film role was in the 1993 film, Rudy. Wider success was gained when Vaughn starred in Swingers in 1996. Soon there after Steven Spielberg cast Vaughn in the blockbuster movie The Lost World: Jurassic Park. This role gave Vaughn even more exposure.

Vaughn had varied success in his film appearances until his role in the 2003 comedy, Old School. This film skyrocketed his profile. Vaughn has appeared  in a number of films, mostly comedies, including Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Couples Retreat, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Wedding Crashers. Vaughn’s most recent film was Ron Howard’s comedy, The Dilemma, released in January 2011.

Vaughn married Canadian realtor Kyla Weber in January 2010. The couple’s daughter, Locklyn Kyla Vaugh was born in December 2010. Vaughn is a part of the U.S.O. tour. He has visited soldiers all over Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Iraq.
