The Biggest Turn-offs for Women on a First Date

Are you staring at the phone waiting for her to text you back? If the first date was a disaster, that’s no surprise. Maybe you thought it went well, but if you took part in these common turn-offs for women, then she’s probably already forgotten about you.

Don’t want to make the same mistake twice? Avoid these annoying habits, so that your next first date will go better.

He brags the whole time: Leave your ego at home. She doesn’t need you to tell her how much you bench or how much you make in a year. It means a lot more when she finds out for herself.

He doesn’t offer to pay: It shows that chivalry is still alive when you offer to pay. If you insist on picking up the tab, it means that her company is at the very least worth a steak dinner.

He doesn’t add to the conversation: She feels that you’re uninterested when you don’t chime in. You don’t have to be a chatterbox, but it’s hard to get to know someone when they don’t open up.

He’s staring at the waitress’ butt: I shouldn’t even have to mention this, but I hear horror stories of guys checking out other women on the first date all of the time. If you’re really into her, give her the respect she deserves.

He doesn’t give any compliments:Women love compliments. Whether they be physical or intellectual, they’re a way to show that you’re truly interested. Any guy can give a good compliment, but a man that tailors his flattery specifically towards his date will leave an outstanding impression.

Women like men, not boys. If you can show that you’re responsible and mature, you’ve got it going on. However, if your parents are still paying for your cell phone bill, don’t tell her that.
