Daniel Whitney’s Education Background

Larry the Cabel GuyDaniel Lawrence Whitney, better known by his stage name and character Larry the Cable Guy, was born on February 17, 1963 in Pawnee City, Nebraska. Whitney attended college at the now defunct Baptist University of America. Whitney left college after his junior year to pursue his comedy career.

Whitney began his career in radio. He started as a disc jockey in Blue Springs, Missouri. Whitney became a popular regular guest on many radio shows through out the nation. The development of the character, Larry the Cable Guy, made Whitney famous. Now he maintains the Larry character throughout his stage comedy acts. Whitney is also one of the co-stars of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. The tour is a comedy troupe which also includes Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Jeff Foxworthy. The comedians all starred on Blue Collar TV together.

Will Ferrell’s Education Background

Will Ferrell is an American actor, comedian, and writer who first gained fame for his work on Saturday Night Live in the late 1990s. Some of his films include Old School, Elf, and Anchorman. He is a member of the Frat Pack, a group of comedic actors who have become widely popular in the past few years. EDUinReview will now take a look at Ferrell’s education background.

Ferrell was born on July 16, 1967, in Irvine, California. His parents are Betty Kay and Roy Lee Ferrell, Jr. He attended Turtle Rock Elementary, Rancho San Joaquin Middle School, and University High School in Irvine. While in high school, Ferrell played for his school’s varsity football team. After high school, Ferrell attended the University of Southern California. He studied sports broadcasting and information and was an active member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

In 1995, Ferrell joined the cast of Saturday Night Live where he made a name for himself by doing impersonations. Some of the people he impersonated include George W. Bush, Neil Diamond, and Saddam Hussein. After seven years, Ferrell retired from the show but he has returned twice to host in May 2005 and May 2009.

Jason Segel’s Education Background

Actor Jason SegelJason Segel is an American actor who is possibly best known for his roles in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You, Man, and How I Met Your Mother. His next movie to hit the big screen will be Bad Teacher, in which he co-stars with Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz. EDUinReview will now take a look at his education background.

Segel was born on January 18, 1980, in Los Angeles, California. His parents are Jill and Alvin Segel. He grew up in Pacific Palisades, California and attended a school that is affiliated with the Episcopal Christian Church for elementary school; however, he was raised in the Jewish religion because his father is Jewish. He then attended Harvard-Westlake School for middle school and high school. Segel was very tall even as a young man (6 foot 4 inches) and played for his school’s state champion basketball team in 1996.

Luke Wilson’s Education Background

Luke Wilson is an American actor who is possibly best known for his roles in Legally Blonde and Old School. He is a member of the Frat Pack, a group of funny actors who have gained fame in the past few years. EDUinReview will now take a look at his education background.

Wilson was born on on September 21, 1971, in Dallas, Texas. His parents are Robert and Laura Wilson. He is the youngest of three siblings; he has two brothers, Andrew and Owen. All three of the Wilson brothers work in film. Wilson attended Occidental College for athletics but then he discovered his love of acting while there and soon transferred to Texas Christian University.
