Description
Annual awards for graduating Texas high school seniors who have participated in University Interscholastic League (UIL) Academic contests at the state level who are majoring in Accounting at a Texas college/university that participates in the Accounting Education Foundation of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc., programs. Students who competed in past State Meets as underclassmen and who are now graduating may also apply. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum SAT score of 1100 or minimum ACT score of 24, be in the top 10% of graduating class, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Consideration is also given to leadership abilities, participation in school and community activities and financial need. Applications are available for download on TILF's website, or are included in the One-Act Play participant's passes packet, or may be picked up at the State Meet Registration Center, or student can send request for one beginning March 1st by sending a self-addressed (9-1/2"x4") envelope with two first class stamps. Applications must be submitted and post-marked between April 1st and May 9th. Renewable.
