Annual awards for western Maryland or West Virginia residents who are undergraduate students enrolled part- or full-time at Allegany College of Maryland. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, be U.S. citizens/permanent residents, and be pursuing a career in Health or Health related field related to speech, hearing, work with the handicapped, health sciences, or a field that will lead to a career working with children or adults with a speech, physical, or learning disability. Applicants must demonstrate community service and good moral character. Number of awards may vary. An essay must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable; recipients may reapply.
