Casualty Actuarial Society Scholarships for Minority Students

Description
Annual awards for African American, Hispanic, and Native North American undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a career in the field of Actuarial Science. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, Canadian citizen or have a permanent resident visa in either country, have demonstrated mathematical ability, and evidence of some understanding of the actuarial field. Selection is based on individual merit and financial need. Award amount ranges $500-$3,000. Contact the university's Mathematics Department, or Guidance Office, or the Society of Actuaries website for more information and/or application.
