Civilian Radioactive Waste Management Fellowship Program

Description
Annual fellowship program for master's or doctoral students (at participating universities) interested in studying the safe transport, storage and disposal of spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive wastes and are majoring in Earth Science, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Life Science, Health Science, Medical Science, Mathematics, Physical Science Engineering, or Radiation Sciences. Applicant may not hold any other graduate degree. Students must be planning on full-time, uninterrupted study toward a Ph.D. degree. Due date is last Monday in January. Award package consists of: annual student stipend ($22,000), tuition and fees (up to $12,000), practicum allowance ($300 monthly), and travel allowance (as appropriate). Renewable. Number of awards may vary.
