Denise Franklin Journalism Scholarship - Communications Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for Forsyth County, North Carolina residents graduating high school seniors from East Forsyth High School planning to attend a four-year postsecondary institution majoring in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. Students must have a minimum 3.0 CGPA, be U.S. citizens, and demonstrate a minimum of two year participation in a journalism project or in two different types of journalistic media. Number of awards may vary. Three samples of journalism work must be included with application packet. Contact student's guidance counselor for additional information and/or application.
