Annual awards for residents of select Kentukcy counties who graduated from one of the high schools and are undergraduate students attending Eastern Kentucky University who majoring in Allied Health or Nursing. Selection based on financial need and potential to succeed. Counties include: Bell, Breathitt, Carter, Clay, Elliott, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Johnson, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Lawrence, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, McCreary, Menifee, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike, Powell, Rockcastle, Whitley, and Wolfe. Due date, number of awards and award amount may vary. Nonrenewable.
