Annual awards for students with autism who are undergraduate students pursuing a postsecondary education. Applicants must be nominated by an Autism Society of America member.
This scholarship would be very helpful for me. I don't feel it is fair that we need to know somebody from the autism society of america to be considered for this scholarship. ~An Autistic girl who is paying her own way through college

Same here. Would love for my son to be able to apply for a scholarship through this program but we don't know anyone in Autism Society of America. Bummer.

I agree. My daughter is interested in the scholarship but knows no one that is an Autism Society member.

I agree with Ms. Castro.
Being nominated by a member of the Autism Society should not be determinative of an individual's merit for the scholarship.

What if we don't know any Autism Society of America members? My son (PDD-NOS diagnosis) would like to apply for your college scholarships, but this condition doesn't seem fair.
