Faculty Honors Scholarship in Mathematics & Pre-Engineering - Mathematics Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for Alabama residents attending Auburn University Montgomery who are undergraduate students, enrolled full-time, in a Mathematics or Pre-engineering program. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and an ACT score of 25 with acceptable scores in Math and Science Reasoning. Entering freshmen must have completed the highest high school level of mathematics courses offered or four years of specific college prep math courses. Current students must have completed at least one quarter of calculus. Transfer students must major in mathematics to be eligible. Selection is based on academic performance, difficulty and depth of academic courses, and ACT scores. In addition to application students must submit a recommendation from current math teacher, and any special accomplishments in math and/or science. Award amount varies from full tuition to half tuition. Number of awards varies. Renewable.
