Georgia's HERO Scholarship Program

Description
Annual awards for Georgia residents who are active, killed, or disabled, Georgia National Guard or US Military Reserves members, their children or spouses, who were deployed outside the US for active duty service to a location designated as a combat zone and served a minimum of 181 consecutive days. Students must be undergraduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution in Georgia and children of service members must be 25 years of age or younger and born prior to term of service or within nine months of service. Due date and number of awards may vary.
