Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program

Description
Annual awards for undergraduate/graduate students who are qualified Illinois veterans, who must have completed a minimum of one full year of active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces with an honorable discharge. Illinois residency required 6 months prior to entering armed forces and veteran must have returned to Illinois within 6 months after discharge. Recipient must attend an Illinois public college/university and maintain an acceptable GPA. Grant covers tuition and some fees and may be used up to a maximum of 120 eligible units. A copy of Member 4 Form DD214 must be submitted with the application. No minimum number of credit hours required. No due date. Award amount varies. Contact IL Dept of Veterans' Affairs field offices, college financial aid office, or ISAC for information and application.
