Madison County Scholarship - Single Scholarships

Description
Annual award for Madison County, Arkansas resident who is a high school or GED graduate, and is a single, head of household with sole custody of one or more children under the age of 18. Applicant must be enrolled full- or part-time at an accredited college or university to pursue a career-oriented course of study (applicants cannot already have earned undergraduate degree) to achieve self-sufficiency and a better standard of living. Candidate must have demonstrated financial need (by meeting or exceeding federal guidelines for Pell Grant Award). Due dates are August 1(fall, December 1(spring), May 15(summer). Number of awards and award amount varies. Nonrenewable; may reapply each semester.
