MetLife Foundation Awards Program for Academic Excellence in Medicine - Medicine Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for African American, Mexican American, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and mainland Puerto Rican students permanently residing in the US who are second-, third-, or fourth-year students at an AAMC or AOA-accredited Medical School. Students must be pursuing studies leading to an M.D. or D.O., be U.S. citizens, and demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and leadership skills. Applicants must be legal residents OR attend medical school in designated areas of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, or Texas. Nonrenewable.
