Description
Annual awards for outstanding high school seniors whose families are actively engaged in production agriculture and who will be pursuing full-time, Agricultural studies at an accredited two or four year college/university or vocational/technical school upon graduation. Student must be a U.S. citizen. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA, minimum ACT score of 18 or minimum SAT score of 850, class rank, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). In addition to a special application, student must also submit proof of farming income, academic transcripts, a statement of educational and career goals, evaluation by a counselor/advisor. FFA membership is not a requirement. Non-FFA members may use the FFA application or download applications from www.nafb.com or www.monsanto.com. Nonrenewable.
