Monsignor Egan Hope Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for students who, reside or have resided in one of Chicago's financially depressed neighborhoods, and have been accepted to DePaul University as full-time freshmen. Student must rank in the top 50% of their graduating class, possess a strong motivation to succeed, and be committed to community service and assisting youth. Finalists must attend an interview in April. Award will meet the full need of the student by filling the gap after federal and state funds are utilized. The award may be applied toward tuition and room & board, will vary depending on the student's need, and is renewable up to $40,000 over 4 years. Number of awards varies.
