Newcombe Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students at Presbyterian Colleges (need)

Description
Annual awards for minority or economically disadvantaged undergraduate students attending one of 14 selected institutions of higher learning which are related to the Presbyterian Church (USA). Special expense scholarships, internship scholarships, and partial tuition scholarships are offered. THE FOUNDATION DOES NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS; recipients must be selected by the college. Participating schools are: Sheldon Jackson College (AK), Charles Cook Theological School (AZ), Pikeville College (KY), Rocky Mountain College (MT), Bloomfield College (NJ), Barber-Scotia College (NC), Johnson C. Smith Seminary (GA), St. Andrews Presbyterian College (NC), Jamestown College (ND), Waynesburg College (PA), Knoxville College (TN), Maryville College (TN), Tusculum College (TN), and Davis & Elkins College (WV). Due date, award amount and number of awards is determined by each university.
