Scholarships - African Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander or Latino/Hispanic undergraduate and graduate students who plan to study Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Physical Education or Culinary Arts at an accredited college or university in California. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need. Graduate students must maintain a 3.0 GPA or better, and undergraduate students must maintain a 2.5 GPA or better. Award amount varies. Submit two letters of recommendation; essay; official transcripts; completed and signed financial aid form; billfold-size photo; and a letter describing financial need, academic goals, community nutrition and/or physical education activities with application packet (with three additional copies).
