Scholarships - Forestry Scholarships

Description
Annual grants for Principle Investigators (PI) conducting marine or terrestrial field research in Africa, Asia, and Latin America (including Mexico). North America will be considered only from Native Americans and First Nation People. Applicants must be recognized members of established native groups who intend to conduct their work on native lands. Projects are supported for only one year, so preference is given to discrete, short-term projects. Selection is based on applicant's potential as a conservation professional, relevance to wildlife conservation and scientific merit and value. Due dates are March 1 and September 1. Number of awards and award amount varies.
