Description
Annual awards for residents of Covington County, Alabama pursuing a Medical, Radiology Technician/Imaging, Speech Pathology, Optometry, Nutrition, Dentistry, Nursing or Physical Therapy degree. Current scholarships are restricted to students who have already completed one year of medical school, or have been accepted in a registered program in one of the above fields. Recipient is expected to practice his/her profession in Covington County after graduation for a period of time equal to the time they were awarded funds. Contact local school guidance counselors or the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce in writing or by a hand carried written request.
