Description
Annual awards for immigrant female farmers, ranchers, or the wife, daughter, or close relative of a farmer, rancher, or other person employed in Agriculture. Students must be enrolled at a postsecondary institution in accredited courses seeking continuing education in Agricultural Leadership, Communications, Rural Sociology, Medicine, or other courses directly related to Agriculture, be high school graduates 24 years of and older, and have knowledge of or work experience in Agriculture. Consideration given to GPA and placement tests. Number of awards may vary. An essay must be included with application packet.
