Description
Annual award for Kentucky residents who are full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolling at a participating Kentucky college or university, and are pursuing a degree in the Teaching field. Applicants must be a non-certified teacher or a certified teacher seeking recertification in a critical shortage area. Non-certified applicants must be Kentucky high school graduates with financial need in the top 20% of their class or an ACT score of 28. College applicants, with earned credit, must have a minimum 2.5 GPA as an undergraduate; 3.0 GPA for graduate work. Upon graduation, recipients must teach one year in Kentucky schools for each year of funding or all funds must be repaid with interest. Renewable.
