Thelma Hissey Scholarship - Hearing Scholarships

Description
Annual awards for undergraduate or graduate students who are hearing impaired and have been accepted or are enrolled full-time in a college/university program for students with normal hearing. Applicant must be born with severe/profound hearing impairment or must have suffered such a loss before acquiring language, and must use speech and residual hearing and/or speech-reading as his/her customary form of communication. Consideration given to potential for leadership and financial need. Nonrenewable; but recipients may reapply. Contact the Alexander Graham Bell Association or more information and/or application.
