Description
Annual award for college juniors and seniors interested in research with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Applicants must be full-time students majoring in Life Science, Health Science, Medical Science, Social/Behavioral Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Engineering, Psychology, and Engineering. Student must be a U.S. citizen. Appointments are for one year with one additional year given satisfactory progress; one off-campus internship at a DHS facility will be required (during the summer after first year on the scholarship). Stipend is full tuition and fees; $1000 per month stipend for nine months; $5,000 stipend during internship period.
