Description
Annual awards for undergraduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution in Vermont pursuing studies in Education. Selection is based on racial/ethnic diversity, leadership qualities, experience working with children, understanding of diversity, employment history, academic potential, and commitment to teaching in Vermont. Award is in the form of a forgiveable loan; recipients must teach in Vermont a year for each year of assistance, up to three years. Renewable.
