Annual awards for Palm Beach or Martin County, Florida residents who are graduating high school seniors and immigrated to the U.S. and will be full-time students at a college, university or vocational school. Applicant must have an overall "C" average and financial need. Selection is based on the applicant's academic record, potential to succeed, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of education and career goals, and unusual personal or family circumstances. A personal interview for finalists is required. Award amounts range from $750-$2,500 per year. Award duration may vary from 1 to 4 years depending on the individual scholarship. Number of awards may vary. Applicants need to submit only one application to be considered for all eligible awards.
