William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship for Minority Students

Description
Annual internship for minority, undergraduate or gradute students pursuing studies in the Social Sciences or Humanities wishing to expand their knowledge of philanthropy, voluntarism, and non-profit organinzations. Applicants must have outstanding research skills, excellent writing and communication skills, and demonstrated financial need. The internship is for 10-12 weeks, full-time during the summer at The Aspen Institute in Washington D.C. Recipient must pay for all travel and housing costs. Applicant must submit a letter of interest, resume, transcript, letter from school's financial aid office certifying financial need, and two letters of reference. There is no application form. Due date and number of awards may vary. Contact the Fund for more information and/or application.
