Heald College was established in 1863. Students at Heald College can earn their associate's degree in the health care, business, legal, or technology fields. At Heald, an emphasis is placed on preparing the student for a successful career in their chosen area of study through hands-on learning. Day and evening classes are available, which makes it easy for both traditional and non-traditional students to attend. Most classes at Heald College are small, allowing for plenty of interaction between the professors and students. The goal at Heald College is to give all students the higher quality education that they will need for attaining a career upon graduation.

Heald has 11 campuses in the U.S. Nine are located in California: Concord, Fresno, Hayward, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Salinas, San Francisco, San Jose, and Stockton. The other two are located in Portland, Oregon and Honolulu, Hawaii.


Both traditional and non-traditional students attend Heald College. Day and evening classes and an accelerated program option make it possible for students to graduate in only 18 months. Students learn through first-hand experience, which is necessary in the fields offered at Heald College. 


Heald College is a long-standing leader among career training colleges.
