Norwich University's online program seminars are designed to be more rigorous than traditional courses, as they provide students with a master's degree with the convenience of online learning. Online programs are offered through the School of Graduate Studies, and promote leadership and attend to the student's needs. Norwich offers flexibility, small class sizes, extensive library resources, networking opportunities, and experiential learning methods for adults with other life commitments.

Each semester, students take two seminars, and most students finish their program in 18 to 24 months. Students support one another, receive individual attention from faculty, and communicate with those at different institutions to expand their network.
