Mike Catherwood's Education Background

Michael Dwight Catherwood is an American radio personality. He is commonly known by his pseudonym, Psycho Mike. He is famous for his work on KROQ-FM and Loveline with Dr. Drew Pinsky. EDUinReview will now take a look at his education background.

Mike was born on March 15, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up immersed in the L.A. music scene, especially interested in punk rock and hard rock.  After high school, he attended Rutgers University and studied theater.

He then returned to his hometown and began working at the Kevin & Bean Morning Show on KROQ-FM, where he earned his nickname. He has earned worldwide acclaim for his music selections and segments on this show.

Recently, he began co-hosting Loveline Radio with Dr. Drew. He also has been a guest-host on E! Entertainment’s The Daily 10 and done voiceover campaigns for the MLB, TNT, Discovery Channel, and AT&T.

Now, Mike has decided to switch over from punk and hard rock music to more traditional, ballroom music. It was announced in late February that he will be competing on the twelfth season of Dancing with the Stars. His partner will be Lacey Schwimmer.
