Oh attended Sir Robert Borden High School and turned down a four-year journalism scholarship to Carleton University. She chose to study drama at the National Theater School of Canada in Montreal. She graduated in 1993.

Oh has won a Golden Globe for her role in Grey’s Anatomy. She has also starred in feature films such as Under the Tuscan Sun and Sideways. She also has a supporting role in the HBO show Arli$$.

Ellen Pompeo’s Education Background

Actress Ellen PompeoEllen Kathleen Pompeo was born on November 10, 1969 in Everett, Massachusetts. She is known for playing the title role, Meredith Grey in ABC’s show Grey’s Anatomy.

After graduating from high school in Everett, Pompeo moved to Florida. In 1996, Pompeo was bar tending at the SoHo Bar and Grill in New York City when an agent approached her about being in commercials. Pompeo was able to break into minor television roles and eventually film. She made her studio screen debut in 2002. She starred in Moonlight Mile and also has a minor reoccurring role on Friends.

Pompeo landed the major role of Meredith Grey in the early 2000’s. Since the show has continued for 7 seasons and Pompeo has received a Golden Globe Nomination for her work. In 2007, she signed a contract with Grey’s Anatomy that brought her salary to $200,000 per episode.

Will Smith’s Education Background

Actor Will SmithWillard Christopher “Will” Smith, Jr. was born on September 25, 1968 in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father, Willard Christopher Smith, Sr., was a refrigerator salesman. His mother, Caroline Smith, was a school administrator who worked for the Philadelphia school board. Smith’s parents separated when he was thirteen years old.

It has been stated that Smith turned down a scholarship to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). However, he never applied. Smith was a good student with high SAT scores, and was admitted to a “pre-engineering program” at MIT. Smith has reported that he never had intentions of attending college.

Smith’s celebrity life began in the 1980’s as the MC of the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. The group gained critical acclaim for winning the first ever Grammy in the Rap category in 1988. Smith’s acting career began in 1990 when NBC signed him to a contract and built a sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, around him. The show was successful and  ran for nearly six years (1990–1996) on NBC and has been syndicated since.

Actress Sandra BullockSandra Annette Bullock was on born July 26, 1964 in Arlington, Virginia. She is the daughter of John W. Bullock, an Army employee and part time-voice coach and Helga D. Meyer, a German opera singer and voice teacher. Bullock attended Washington-Lee High School. She graduated in 1982. After graduation Bullock entered East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.

She dropped out in her fourth year in spring of 1986. Bullock moved to Manhattan to become an actress. She was just three credits short of graduating. While in Manhattan, Bullock supported herself working as a bartender, a waitress, and even a coat checker. She eventually completed her coursework and graduated from East Carolina University.

Some of Bullock’s earliest roles were off Broadway stage productions. She was noticed and offered television roles in the late eighties. Bullock’s breakthrough role was in the 1994 film Speed. Speed made Bullock a movie star in the 1990s. A few of Bullock’s early successes included While You Were Sleeping, Miss Congeniality, and Hope Floats.

Actor Matt DamonMatthew Paige Damon was born on October 8, 1970 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is the son of stockbroker Kent Telfer Damon and professor of early childhood education Nancy Carlsson-Paige. Damon has one brother named Kyle.

Damon attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. There, he was a disciplined student and began acting in school productions. Damon attended school and grew up near future actor, Ben Affleck. The two worked together in the high school productions.

Damon went on to attend Harvard University from 1988 to 1992. He studied English but dropped out in 1992 to pursue his acting career in Los Angeles.

Damon’s first film role was in 1988. He was eighteen and had a single line in the romantic comedy, Mystic Pizza. In 1996, Damon starred in Courage Under Fire. This role gained him critical notice.

Actor Vince VaughnVincent “Vince” Anthony Vaughn was born on March 28, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the son of toy company salesman Vernon Lindsay Vaughn and real estate and stock broker Sharon Eilleen. Vaughn’s parents divorced in 1991. He has two older sisters,Victoria and Valeri.

This role gave Vaughn even more exposure.

Felicity Huffman’s Education Profile

Actress Felicity HuffmanFelicity Kendall Huffman was born on December 9, 1962 in Bedford, New York. She is the daughter of Moores Peters, a banker, and Grace Valle Huffman.

Huffman attended The Putney School, a boarding school, in Vermont but graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Huffman earned he college degree in 1984 from New York University. She graduated from Circle In The Square Theater School with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drama.
