Ryan Seacrest’s Education Background

Ryan Seacrest HeadshotRyan John Seacrest was born on December 24, 1974 in an Atlanta suburb, Dunwoody, Georgia. He is the son of Gary Lee and Constance Marie Seacrest. Seacrest attended Dunwoody High School. At age sixteen Seacrest won a hard-to-get internship at WSTR FM, in Atlanta. He was trained in the many skills of radio. Seacrest began to work on air at age sixteen.

After Seacrest graduated from high school in 1992 he went on to study journalism at the University of Georgia. Seacrest left UGA at age nineteen and moved to Hollywood to further his broadcasting career. Seacrest briefly attended Santa Monica City College.

At age twenty Seacrest landed a job in Los Angeles at KYSR-FM 98.7’s afternoon show. The show was titled Ryan Seacrest for the Ride Home. It became the station’s No. 1 show and was nationally syndicated.

Randy Jackson’s Education Background

randy jacksonRandy Jackson was born on June 23, 1956 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is best known for his musical talents and his role as a judge on American Idol, where he has been complimenting contestants by calling them “dawg” since 2002. He is also the executive producer for MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

Jackson attended Southern University in Baton Rouge. He graduated in 1979 with a BA in music. Jackson has appeared on more than 1000 albums, putting his degree to good work by playing bass and keyboards.  He also taught recording industry classes at UCLA for several years in the 1990s.

Jennifer Lopez’s Education Background

jennifer lopezJennifer Lopez is an American actress, singer, record producer, dancer, fashion designer, and television producer. She was born on July 24, 1969 in Castle Hill, New York. Both of her parents were born in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Lopez was raised in the Roman Catholic religion and attended Catholic schools through high school. She graduated high school from Preston High School in the Bronx, NY.

After high school, Lopez attended Baruch College for one semester. However, she soon quit her pursuit of a higher education to pursue her singing and dancing dreams.

Her first blockbuster film, Selena, was released in 1997, in which she portrayed famous Spanish singer, Selena Quintanill-Pérez. Steven Tyler’s Education Background

Steven TylerSteven Tyler is a famous American singer and songwriter. He is most famous for his band, Aerosmith. Tyler plays the harmonica, piano, and percussion for the band; however, he is best known for being the frontman and lead singer.

Tyler was born on March 26, 1948 in Scarsdale, New York. He is the youngest of two siblings; he has an older sister, Lynda. He attended Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, NY. However, he was expelled from Roosevelt High School for drug use. He later graduated from Leonard Quintano School for Young Professionals.

Tyler first met his future bandmates at a local rock show in 1969. Aerosmith’s first self-titled album was released in 1973. They released four albums between 1973 and 1977: “Get Your Wings,” “Toys in the Attic,” “Rocks,” and “Draw the Line.” Some of their most famous songs include “Dream On,” “Walk This Way,” and “Sweet Emotion.” Read the rest of this entry »
