Arianna Huffington’s Education Background

Huffington Post Co-FounderArianna Huffington is a Greek-American writer, author and co-founder of The Huffington Post.

Huffington (née Stassinopoulos) was born in Greece on July 15, 1950. She grew up in Greece and moved to England at the age of 16 to attend the Girton College at Cambridge University. She graduated with a degree in economics. At Cambridge, she was the President of the Cambridge Union Society, the university’s prominent debate club. Because of this position, she became a frequent guest of the BBC Radio 4 show Any Questions? After acting as a discussion panelist for several BBC television shows, she became the first female host of the late night talk show Saturday Night at The Mill.
