5 Cheap and Easy Foods for College Super Bowl Parties

Whether you’re hosting a Super Bowl party in your dorm, student rec hall or at home, your guests will expect you to provide refreshments. You don’t have to go all out and get it catered or even spend the whole day in the kitchen.

Here’s a list of easy fix-its that your guests are sure to love:

Sandwiches: Save money by putting together your own meat and veggie platter. Pick croissants over regular sandwich bread, and don’t forget the condiments.

Nachos: You’re probably not surprised that nachos made the list. They’re easy to fix, and they go a long way. Sprinkle cheese, olives, chili peppers and black or pinto beans on top, and zap in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Aaron Rodgers’ Education Background

Aaron Rodgers is an American quarterback who plays football for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. He has played for the Packers since 2005, when he was selected in the first round of the NFL draft. On February 6, 2011, Rodgers and the Packers will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. EDUinReview will now take a look at the education background of this gifted athlete.

Rodgers was born in Chico, California, on December 2, 1983. He grew up in Chico and attended Pleasant Valley High School. During high school, he played football and started as quarterback for two years. He had several recording-making games while in high school, including one game when he scored six touchdowns for his team. He graduated from high school in 2002.

Mike McCarthy’s Education Background

Mike McCarthy is an NFL coach for the Green Bay Packers. The Packers will face the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV on February 6, 2011. EDUinReview will now take a look at the education background of this talented coach and athlete.

McCarthy was born on November 10, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended college at Baker University. He played as a football tight end for the school for two years. He was the senior captain for his football team and helped the school become NAIA Division II runner-ups. McCarthy earned his degree in business administration.

After college, McCarthy went on to coach college football at Fort Hays State from 1987-1988 and then at Pittsburg State from 1989-1992. After five years coaching college football, McCarthy got his foot in the NFL coaching door with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has also coached the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers, in addition to his current position with the Green Bay Packers. He has been the head coach for the Packers since January 2006.
