Hank Azaria’s Education Background

Hank Azaria is an American actor, director, and comedian. He is very well known for voicing several characters on the popular television show, The Simpsons. He has also appeared in several movies, such as Along Came Polly, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Uprising. His next upcoming film is Hop, which released April 1, 2011. EDUinReview will now take a look at his education background.

Azaria was born on April 25, 1964 in Forest Hills, New York. His parents were Sephardic Jews from Thessaloniki, Greece, and he has two older sisters, Stephanie and Elise. His first acting job was advertising Italian television when he was 17-years old. Azaria graduated from The Kew-Forest School, and then went on to study drama at Tufts University and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While in college, he starred in several school productions, including The Merchant of Venice, and had dreams of being a theatre actor. However, after several years of working as a bartender, he realized that he preferred television acting and moved to Los Angeles.
