MTV’s “I Used to Be Fat” Now Casting for Season 2

MTV Weight Loss ShowAfter announcing the premier of MTV’s reality weight-loss show, I Used to Be Fat, we have gotten many, many inquires about how to get on the show. We finally have the answer. Today, MTV announced that they are looking for high school seniors who have 40 to 100 pounds to lose to star on the second season of the docu-series. The show’s casting directors will be traveling to Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas. According to our contact at 3 Ball Productions, the show’s production company, the ideal cast members will live no more than 50 miles outside of these locations.

Hines Ward’s Education Background

Hines Ward is an American football player who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was voted the MVP of Super Bowl XL in 2005. In addition to playing professional football, he also played college football at the University of Georgia. EDUinReview will now take a look at this outstanding athlete’s education background.

Ward was born in Seoul, South Korea to a Korean mother and an African American father. The family moved to Atlanta when he was one-year old. When he was two-years old, his parents divorced and a court decided that Ward should be raised by his paternal grandmother because his mother did not speak English.

Ward attended high school at Forest Park High School in Forest Park, Georgia. While in high school, he played quarterback for the school’s football team and was voted the Clayton County Offensive Player of the Year twice.

Ralph Macchio’s Education Background

Ralph Macchio is an American actor who is possibly best known for his role as Daniel LaRusso in the Karate Kid series. EDUinReview will now take a look at the background of this talented actor and future competitor on the reality television show, Dancing with the Stars.

Ralph was born on November 4, 1961 in Huntington, New York. Ralph first became interested in acting when he began performing in several musical productions. When he was 16-years old, he starred in several television commercials. Before he even graduated from high school, he had appeared in a full-length move, Up the Academy. His next major movie was The Outsiders, which is based on S.E. Hinton’s book of the same name.

In 1984, he got his breakthrough role in the first Karate Kid movie. He also starred in the sequel and third installment of the film. His next major film was the 1986 movie, Crossroads.  He then starred in My Cousin Vinny, a comedy with Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei. This was his first important adult role of his acting career.

Mike Catherwood’s Education Background

Michael Dwight Catherwood is an American radio personality. He is commonly known by his pseudonym, Psycho Mike. He is famous for his work on KROQ-FM and Loveline with Dr. Drew Pinsky. EDUinReview will now take a look at his education background.

Mike was born on March 15, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up immersed in the L.A. music scene, especially interested in punk rock and hard rock.  After high school, he attended Rutgers University and studied theater.

Petra Nemcova’s Education Background

Petra Nemcova is a Czech model, author, philanthropist, and television host. She is also the founder of the Happy Hearts Fund, a non-profit organization that aims to improve children’s lives in disaster areas. Recently, it was announced that Petra will be competing in the next season of Dancing with the Stars. EDUinReview will now take a look at her background.

Petra was born in the Czech Republic on June 24, 1979 and she grew up in Karvina. She speaks six languages: Czech, Slovak, Polish, English, French, and Italian.

Petra was approached by Next Model Management on the streets of Prague. After she signed with the modeling agency, she moved to Milan, where her career as a model took off. She work for campaigns for Benetton, Pantene Pro-V, Victoria’s Secret, and many more. In 2004, she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, as well as in the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 editions of the magazine.

Chelsea Kane’s Education Background

Chelsea Kane is an American actress and singer, originally famous for her Disney Channel movies and sitcom roles. Kane recently announced that she will be branching away from Disney Channel to compete in this season’s Dancing with the Stars. EDUinReview will now take a look at the education background of this young star.

Kane was born on September 15, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona. Her parents are Becky and John Staub and she is their only child. She attended Mohave Middle School and Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, where she grew up. She attended Saguaro High School for a year, but then she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She has put her education on hold for now in favor of her professional career.

In 2007, Kane was cast in her first theatrical role as the main antagonist in Bratz: The Movie. The next year, she performed in Minutemen, a Disney Channel original movie, Starstruck, and Wizards of Waverly Place. In 2009, she was nominated for the Choice TV Breakout Star Female award from the Teen Choice Awards for her role in Jonas L.A. and in 2010, the Hollywood Teen TV Awards nominated her for Teen Pick Actress: Comedy for the same role.

Wendy was born on July 18, 1964 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She is the middle child of three children. She graduated from Ocean Township High School. After high school, she attended Northeastern University, where she earned her BA in communications in 1986. She was also a popular DJ on the college’s radio station during her time at Northeastern.

Before starting her trademark career of talking about celebrities at “98.7 Kiss FM” in 1989, Wendy also interned at “Kiss 108” and WVIS, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. In 1993, she won the Billboard Award for Best On-Air Radio Personality for her work at Kiss.

Chris Jericho’s Education Background

Chris Irvine is a Canadian-American professional wrestler, actor, radio host, and musician. He is best known in the World Wrestling Federation ring as Chris Jericho.
