Jerry Seinfeld’s Education Background

Jerry Seinfeld is an American comedian, actor, and writer. He was born on April 19, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York to Kalman and Betty Seinfeld. He is probably best known for his situational comedy television show, Seinfeld, which was based loosely on his own life. EDUinReview will now take a look at the education background of this very funny man.

Seinfeld grew up on Long Island in a small town called Massapequa, where he attended kindergarten through high school. He graduated from Massapequa High School. When he was 16-years old, he spent a short amount of time living and volunteering in Israel at the Kibbutz Sa’ar, a farming community in western Galilee.

After high school, Seinfeld attended SUNY Oswego. However, after his sophomore year, he transferred to Queens College, City University of New York. He graduated with a degree in communications and theater.
