Dennis Quaid’s Education Background

Dennis Quaid is an American actor who has been acting since 1975. His first film was Crazy Mama, but he first began to receive acclaim for his work in the 1980s in films like Jaws 3-D, Dreamscape, and The Big Easy. However, women across the country know Quaid for his signature grin. His next major film will be Soul Surfer, in which he co-stars with Carrie Underwood and AnnaSophia Robb. Quaid was born on April 9, 1954 in Houston, Texas. His parents are Juanita and William Quaid. He has an older brother, Randy Quaid, who is also an actor. Quaid graduated from Pershing Middle School in Houston. While in high school, Quaid studied dance and Chinese. He then went on to further his education at the University of Houston, where he studied drama. He did not graduate college but instead dropped out in order to pursue his acting career and move to Los Angeles.
