Adventures in Education is a non-profit, public benefit program that provides resources for everyone from the Middle School Student, to the College Student; from Parents to Teachers, Librarians and School Counselors.

With regards to students, no matter their age, they advise them to first get involved. They suggest students begin early to explore careers based on their talents, dreams or things that intrigue them. They encourage students to familiarize themselves with the business aspects of their interests by visiting work sites whenever possible. Adventures in Education advocates joining clubs or charities, and getting involved in volunteer work.

Next, they endorse early planning for college. Even at a young age, students can focus on the skills that will enable them to successfully navigate though the eventuality of heavier work loads. In fact, they even list classes that are advantageous to both Middle and High School students who plan on attending college. Finally, they show students and parents alike, how to devise a four year plan that will keep them on track.

While this information is beneficial to both parents and students, they don’t stop there. They cover every aspect of college, the application process, the admissions process, financial aid and housing costs.
