Annual awards for residents of California, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Texas, who are FFA members and will be graduating high school seniors or first time, incoming freshmen enrolling at a four year college or university and are pursuing studies in Agriculture. Other areas of study related to Agriculture may include Business Management, Finance, Economics, or Sales and Marketing. Student must be a U.S. citizen. Criteria used for selection includes student's GPA (minimum 3.0), ACT or SAT scores, class rank, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Renewable.
