Description
Annual research awards for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing studies in Energy-Related disciplines in the public power industry, at an accredited college or university. Selection is based on academic performance, broad applicability of student’s proposed project, generalizable methodologies, and promotion of energy efficiency. An original transcript sent directly from the school is required. Award recipients will be expected to complete a technical design project and submit a final report. Award amount will be distributed in two payments with one-third being awarded upon completion of the project. (Funding may be split among students collaborating on a single project.) An additional amount, not to exceed $3,000, will be awarded to the student for travel expenses to the APPA Engineering & Operations Technical Conference to present the project.
