Same here. My non-verbal ASD son could benefit from the scholarship. He worked very hard to get admission into various college for a psych degree.

I don't know anyone in the society to sponsor. Please consider after seeing his blog - journal4hari.blogspot.com posted Apr 9th, 2017 10:30 pm

This scholarship would be very helpful for me. I don't feel it is fair that we need to know somebody from the autism society of america to be considered for this scholarship. ~An Autistic girl who is paying her own way through college posted Feb 12th, 2017 1:04 pm

Same here. Would love for my son to be able to apply for a scholarship through this program but we don't know anyone in Autism Society of America. Bummer. posted Jan 13th, 2017 7:37 pm

I agree. My daughter is interested in the scholarship but knows no one that is an Autism Society member. posted Jan 19th, 2012 5:18 pm

I agree with Ms. Castro.

Being nominated by a member of the Autism Society should not be determinative of an individual's merit for the scholarship. posted Nov 9th, 2011 6:31 am

What if we don't know any Autism Society of America members? My son (PDD-NOS diagnosis) would like to apply for your college scholarships, but this condition doesn't seem fair. posted Jan 14th, 2011 9:03 pm
