Annual awards for high school seniors/graduates who have not attended college full-time. Students must be U.S. citizens, attend a college/university with an AFROTC Program and meet medical exam requirements. Awards based on SAT (1100) and ACT (24) scores, CGPA (min. 3.0), class ranking (top 40%), a personal interview, recommendations and extracurricular activities. Over 95% of scholarships are awarded in technical/scientific academic degree areas; areas may change based on the needs of the Air Force. However, business degrees may be considered. Amount and number of awards varies. Awards pay for textbooks as well as a $100/month living allowance during the school year. Recipients must serve at least 4 years on active duty in the Air Force after graduation. Contact HQ AFROTC for application & information.
