Annual internships for full-time, African-American college juniors, seniors or graduate students who are members of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and are interested in Print, Broadcast, Multimedia, or Photo Journalism. Selection criteria includes student's resume, 3-4 samples of applicant's work clips, an essay, newswriting/editing test, and an interview. Applicants will also have to complete an AP Employment Application and Applicant Flow Survey. The internship is for ten weeks, during the summer, under the direction of a designated trainer. Number of internships and stipend amount may vary. Nonrenewable.
