Annual awards for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time at a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in Primary Care Health in the fields of Allopathic Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, Dentistry, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwife, or Physician Assistant. Students must be U.S. citizens attending school in the U.S. and sign and submit a contract. Awards are in the form of forgiveable loans; recipients must agree to provide one year of service in the HPSA of greatest need for each year of scholarship support received, with a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years. Number of awards and award amount may vary.
