Description
Annual internships for full-time master’s or doctoral students who are interested in research relating to atmospheric, environmental, and oceanic sciences at minority serving institutions when possible. Applicants must be pursuing studies in Engineering, Biology, Meteorology, Chemistry, Social Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Fishery Biology, Environmental Planning, Economics, Hydrology, Oceanography, Cartography, Physical Science, Geography and Geology. Internship assignments are held at NOAA headquarters and field sites. Due date is the last Monday in January. Award is payment of tuition and fees, books, housing, meals, travel expenses and a one-time academic allowance. During the 16 week internship period, students will receive a salary and benefits from NOAA.
